Every state legislator and local government official has a story about an issue that drove them to craft a new law. These are inspiring stories and their work product -- a local or state law -- is an example for other elected officials to consider embracing.
There aren't many good repositories of these great bills for state and local officials to draw from as they work on their legislative agenda. I'm hopeful that it will be helpful to elected officials, their staffs and advocates across the country.
